Dear Editor, “ROYAL PROTEST” RAY Fleming in his complaint, in Viewpoint, Daily Bulletin, March 10th, about pictures placed in the Times states that Princes William and Harry might be offended by a print, dated 1558, that implicated an ancestor in torture. This is not true. England had two monarchs in 1558, Queen Mary and her half sister, Queen Elizabeth. Neither had offspring and, therefore, are ancestors to no one. While the four, Mary, Elizabeth, William and Harry have mutual ancestors, there is no line from one to the other. They are distant cousins, many, many times removed.
