Dear Sir, WE have an apartment on the Pine Walk in Pta. Pollensa, and are dismayed at the current practice of replacing the dying Pine trees with a crazy paving slab when the trees finally succumb to old age or disease.

During the last week the Council have dug up the old roots near the Illya D'or hotel and it does look as if they are not going to replace the fallen trees.

Pine Walk will soon have to be referred to as the “Concrete Walk” if the Pines are not replaced and looked after by railings etc. until they are established.
