3 CHEERS...

...for the planners and gardeners who keep Palma looking so colourful throughout most of the year. A small city with a serious traffic problem could easily seem cramped and unattractive but wherever there is space for them flowers, bushes and even lawns catch the eye. Much the same can be said for the work that is done to keep Majorca's motorways attractive. Maintenance seems to be constant and the result is traffic environment that contributes to calmness and good road manners. A cheer too for the politicians and administrators who understand that money spent in these ways pays dividends.
