Puerto Pollensa beaches We have just returned from a 14 day holiday in Puerto Pollensa. We stayed at a small hotel opposite the beach. We both noticed that the cleaning standards had taken a really bad downturn for the worse. Every morning the rubbish that was left from the day and night before was not collected as the Beach Attendants they did not start work until 9.30 or at worse 10 am.


As the weather was really hot a lot of holiday makers were on the beach from 8am surrounded by rubbish.
We could not understand why the Beach Attendants did not start work earlier.
In the 14 days that we were there the machine for cleaning the beach and sand was only used once! We noticed on reading your report on Puerto Pollensa that the beach had lost its Blue Flag status and with the poor standards we can see why.
Unless this matter is addressed holiday makers like ourselves will go elsewhere.
