---to follow last week's Three Cheers for England's cricketers' achievements in Australia -- but directed this week at the over-the-the-top treatment lavished on the outcome of the Test series by the UK press. A foreign field falls to English hearts -- The Times yesterday, following seven pages written by as many journalists devoted to the subject on Friday. True, this success has been a long time coming but a better sense of proportion would not come amiss.
