To those responsible for spoiling an engrossing Test Match series between England and Australia by confusion over the DRS (Decision Review System) technology being used to determine the outcome of appeals for confirmation or rejection of the on-field umpire's judgement. Some of the third umpire's decisions, although taken with the benefit of close-up cameras and the somewhat unreliable Hot Spot aid, are difficult to accept and it is understandable that the Australians, who have suffered most, are asking for clarification .
