Recently, in his Viewpoint, Ray Fleming picked up on the high number of people from all around the Commonwealth who are helping the UK surge to great heights, be it in sport, business or even politics, when it come to party politics.

But, now it appears that government, which is warming up for the next general election battle is looking to help from across the pond.
Over the weekend, it was announced that the Conservative Party had hired Barrack Obama's campaign manager Jim Messina for its general election campaign team.

He will act as a campaign strategist alongside Australian Lynton Crosby who was hired back in November.
And, yesterday, I discovered that the genius who concluded that patient safety “must be top priority in the NHS” is also an American and not only that, Obama's former health advisor.

Has London and Westminster got some job swap scheme going on ?
With all due respect, how an American can look at our health system, when theirs is completely different, I do not know.
Is there no one capable in Britain of managing election campaigns and examining what is wrong with the NHS?
I know Don Berwick was full of praise for the NHS but the United States of America is not part of Commonwealth, never mind Great Britain.
