Majorca has proved to be one of the biggest television successes of the New Year in Great Britain and Lion Television, which produced the 30-part series Passport to the Sun says there is a very strong possibility of a second series to be filmed again in Majorca. Passport to the Sun, presented by Liza Tarbuck, has and is providing the United Kingdom with a daily fly-on-the-wall insight to a broad cross-section of summer in Majorca, from tourists and the rich and famous to a selection of key members of the British community residents on the island, including the staff of the Daily Bulletin, which as a result has been inundated with job applications and E-mails from people in the UK who are habitually following the programme. The series is now into its penultimate week, after having started on January 3 with an audience of over three million.
