THE launch of Bulletin columnist Anna Nicholas' new book, A Lizard in my Luggage, took place in London yesterday, at Hatchards Book Shop in Piccadilly. The book describes what it is like living and working between London and Majorca, and it will, she hopes, change people's perceptions of the island. She said many Britons still associate it as a place for young people, with the accent on drugs and alcohol. At a press conference prior to the launch, she pointed out that 210'000 British people leave the country every year in search of a better life and Spain, particularly Majorca, is the most popular European destination. Anna will be signing copies of her book across the south of the island on March 21, an event which is being co-ordinated by the Bulletin. To win a copy of the book, just answer this question: What day does Anna Nicholas' column appear in the Bulletin?. Answers can be faxed, emailed or posted to the Majorca Daily Bulletin and must be received by Sunday.
