TWO people were in hospital last night being treated for injuries suffered in an accident along the Llucmajor to s'Estanyol road yesterday afternoon.
The two victims were the drivers of their corresponding vehicles, a VW Polo and a Mercedes.
The 55-year-old, male driver of the Mercedes was seriously injured and rushed to Son Dureta hospital in Palma while the 35-year-old female driver of the Polo was being cared for in a Palma clinic last night for minor injuries.

The vehicles apparently collided head on, and the Guardia Civil has opened a full investigation to establish the exact cause of the crash.
Sources for the investigation said yesterday that the wet conditions have been making driving extremely difficult across the Balearics over the past few days.
