POLICE have arrested four people in connection with a robbery which took place at a property in Portopi in Palma two months ago.
The thieves had forced their way in and attacked the owner who was inside at the time, making off with a number of valuables including a laptop computer, a mobile telephone and around 3'000 euros in cash.

Two months of investigation by the police followed and the arrests have been made over the last few days. Three of the suspects are aged 20 and the fourth is 23-years-old.

Three of the accused have been sent to prison in Palma prior to a court hearing but the remaining suspect has been freed with charges.
