STAFF REPORTER PALMA City Council is teaming up with Top Radio Choice DJs at the Ses Voltes city walls today for a musical campaign against drug-taking. The brainchild of the Council's Social Welfare department, and announced through social networking on Facebook, Twitter and Tuenti, the concert will be hosted by Dj Jorge, Gaspar Sampol and Dj Xavi.


The campaign, with its slogan “It's my life,” aims to encourage young people to turn away from the temptation and dangers of drug-taking through providing information, and encouraging debate and reflection.

Complementary activities to the musical campaign include a competition of demonstration tapes in which participants can present new musical ideas based on the anti-drug movement theme. The winner will have the chance to act live when Top Radio Choice Djs host a festival on the Playa de Palma on 11th September.
