Palma.—Legendary American rock band Guns N' Roses have announced that they are going to perform in Palma during their European tour which also includes the famous Binicassim Festival on the mainland.

Promoters El Mago Suplente has confirmed that the band will rock Palma on July 22.
But, the venue has not been decided on.
The promoters and Palma City Council are considering two venues, Son Fuster, where the April fair is held, or the Iberostar football stadium.
The promoters have also revealed that the first 3'000 of the 18'000 tickets are going to go on sale this coming Monday at 35 euros and tomorrow, they will announce the ticket outlets.

According to the promoters, Palma City Council is being very cooperative, to the extent that they have apparently not only agreed to loan the venue, but also help with costs of transporting the band and its stage etc., from Binicassim, where they will be performing on July 20.

Guns N' Roses will quite probably be the largest, if not certainly the loudest, concert of the summer in Palma and, if the concert is held at the football stadium, there will apparently be VIPs areas and a wide range of ticket prices depending on where people wish to sit, or stand.

Guns N' Roses first formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1985 and the band has released six studio albums, accumulating sales of more than 100 million albums worldwide, including shipments of 45 million in the United States.
