Palma.—The Three Kings will arrive in Palma at 5.30p.m. on Saturday afternoon and more than 500 people and a large number of floats will be taking part in the big parade.

This year the budget for the event has been increased to 236'000 euros, a rise of eight percent.
The Kings will arrive at the Old Port in Palma (Paseo Sagrera) and then go along the Plaza de la Reina, up the Borne, and around to the Paseo Mallorca along the Jaime III and up to the Plaza Cort where the Kings will meet council officials.

The city council said yesterday that more than six tonnes of sweets would be distributed among children. Thousands of people are expected to line the streets to watch the big event with the city council saying yesterday that it was best to arrive early so that you were assured of a good place. Despite the growing popularity of Father Christmas in Spain the Three Kings still reign supreme with the majority of children receiving their gifts on Saturday. Three Kings parades will be taking place across the island on Saturday.

Every town and village has their own parade. Palma is obviously the biggest and has the largest budget. The parade in Palma will last until late on Saturday night.
