PALMA
THE Balearic government's three new ministers for Tourism, Transport and the Environment and Employment were sworn in yesterday with the Balearic President Francesc Antich ruling out any votes of confidence in government, on the Council of Majorca or in Palma City Council.

Joana Barcelo has been moved from Minister for Employment to Tourism, she is replaced by Pedro Aguilo and the portfolio of Gabriel Vicens, the Minister for Transport has been expanded to include Environment.

Antich said yesterday that he hopes that the removal of all Majorcan Unionist Party members from the three main administrations will, finally draw a line under the corruption scandals which have been putting a strain on relations within the coalition government of which the Majorcan Unionist Party is.
