PP motion voted down

THE PP's package of proposals to give the faltering economy a boost was rejected yesterday by the Balearic Parliament.
During the debate on the populares' motion, PP leader Rosa Estaràs criticised the Government of President Francesc Antich for having no “unified plan of action”. She added that there was much uncertainty in the economy.

In response, UM deputy Josep Melià said that “one thing was the slowdown of certain economic sectors, the other, the panorama painted by the PP”.
