A 17-year-old youth and an eight-year-old child were injured in the early hours of yesterday morning on the road between Campos and Colonia de San Jordi, when the vehicle in which they were travelling accidentally turned over.
Emergency services were called and an ambulance took the driver, Javier C.D. to hospital in Manacor, while the child, Aida R.C. was driven to the same destination by her mother.
A doctor confirmed that the injuries which both had sustained were not serious. Firemen and Guardia Civil officers who attended the scene said that the car, a Fiat Marea, had flipped over when it swerved off the left-hand side of the road.
