NO ROOM ON THE HIGH STREET

THE Italian fashion company, Dolce & Gabbana, has spent the last six months looking for premises in Palma but has found nothing appropriate to its needs.

The company is looking for a premises with between 300 and 400 square metres of floor space but, according to Francisco Sanchez of consultants Richard Ellis, these types of “high street” locations are currently in short supply in Palma.

Sanchez, presenting a report on the Majorcan property market yesterday, said many retailers were experiencing similar problems.
