Palma.—The former Oasis star has owned a property on the island for a number of years but recent reports in the United Kingdom suggested that he sold up when he heard the You're Beautiful singer James Blunt had taken up residence nearby.

Gallagher was asked about the story in a question-and-answer session with readers of Time Out Dubai magazine, and when one fan asked “Is it true you moved out of Ibiza because of James Blunt?” he replied, “Yes”.

When probed about what Blunt did to upset him, Gallagher added, “He didn't (upset me). “He just moved there. I can't have that.”
