BALEARICS troops currently on a United Nations mission in Bosnia are to receive a special visit from the Balearic President Jaume Matas.
Matas is scheduled to fly out to Mostar, where the Balearic-led mission is based, next Wednesday and spend two days on the ground with Balearics soldiers and their commanders who are in charge of the first ever Balearic led UN mission which also involves troops from bases in Zaragoza and Cadiz. On Thursday Matas will also be meeting the Mayor of Mostar, Ljubo Beslic, for talks and will pay tribute to those who were killed during the Bosnia War. Matas, who will be accompanied by the speaker of the Balearic parliament, Pere Rotger, will end the tour with an official visit to Croatia on Friday.
