Palma.—Mr. Formula One, Bernie Ecclestone yesterday made a quick pit stop in Majorca enroute to Turkey ahead of this weekend's Grand Prix.
The president and CEO of Formula One Management and Formula One Administration refused to talk to reporters but did fuel the prospect of Majorca perhaps hosting a Grand Prix one day.

Ecclestone has already been presented with the plans for a new track to be built in Llucmajor and last year, held a meeting with the project designers during the Valencia GP. When asked if Majorca could host Formula One, Ecclestone replied “why not?”. Members of his team have been on the island studying the local project.
