TWO people died yesterday in separate road accidents, one in Palma and one in the Port of Andratx.
A 69-year-old man, Sebastia Sanso Montserrat, was killed at about 5.30am on the old Sineu road as he rode his motorcycle near Son Llatzer hospital. Guardia Civil Traffic officers said they believed a car driver had become distracted and hit the motorcyclist. The 23-year-old car driver, Javier G.B. was uninjured. The second fatality happened in Avenida Gabriel Roca in the Port of Andratx when the driver of a van heading for the lighthouse collided with a motorcyclist who was thrown off onto the road. He died shortly after paramedics attempted to revive him.
