PALMA
IT had to be Germany and on Sunday, Magalluf and the Playa de Palma are going to packed with England and German fans when the match kicks off at 4pm.
So far, in both resorts, the atmosphere for the qualifying games has been electric and fun with hundreds of fans, male and female of all ages, decked out in all manner of England and German strips and colours and this Sunday is going to be no different.

This Sunday afternoon promises to be a spectacle in both resorts and England and German fans will be assembling to watch the last 16 clash across the island.

So far, all the support has been in good humour with no major incidences.
However, in Magalluf, where the Calvia Local Police, with their new canine unit, have been undergoing special anti-disturbance training, security is expected to be the tightest it has been yet since the World Cup began.

Hopefully, the fans will continue to enjoy the football in good spirits in both Magalluf and along the Playa de Palma.
