More than 100 boats and 250 people took part in a protest in the Port of Pollensa on Sunday over new mooring fees in the Bay near Punta Avancada. Until this year it was free to moor in this area, but the cash-strapped Balearic government introduced new legislation which means that boat owners now have to pay when they drop anchor in this part of Pollensa. It has caused an outcry.
