PALMA
RADIO 1 is going to be broadcasting live from the Balearics again this summer.
Yesterday the radio channel announced its definitive line-up of summer weekend shows including live specials from Ibiza and Majorca.
Judge Jules, Dave Pearce and early morning presenter Greg James will be going live from Majorca on Friday 18 July for three shows starting at 4pm from outside the BCM club.

Jules and James will be presenting a special show from 4-7pm live from BCM Square, followed later by Dance Anthems with Dave Pearce from 11pm - 1am featuring PAs from Ultrabeat and Freemasons.

Judge Jules will finish off the night with his show live from BCM club from 1-3am.
Next up on the calendar is Scott Mills in Barry on Friday 25 July followed by two days in Ibiza on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 August.
Vernon Kay will start the live shows from 4pm on the Friday followed by sets from Pete Tong, Annie Mac's Mash Up and an extended Essential mix from Amnesia. Pete Tong went live from San Antonio on 13 June to announce the line-up for Radio 1 Live in Ibiza which has become an annual fixture in the radio station's summer showcase.

The station will also be broadcasting from the T in the Park music festival at Balado in Angus from 11-13 July.
Scott Mills is taking his karaoke game, Barryoke, to Barry in south Wales while Chris Moyles will do two shows from Newquay in Cornwall on Friday 8 August.

There will also be coverage from the Reading, Leeds and Creamfields festivals and Notting Hill Carnival.
The Radio I live broadcasts from the Balearics are always hugely popular in the UK and also enable the Balearic beat fans to keep in touch with their beloved club islands. The live shows also attract huge crowds in Ibiza and Majorca and provide priceless publicity for the region as a holiday destination with millions of people tuning in to listen to radio or logging on to listen to the shows on line all over the world.
