THE Guardia Civil are on the trail of a gang of thieves which have apparently robbed at least four luxury homes in the Puerto Pollensa area over the past few weeks.
One victim who contacted the Bulletin after having her home broken into and valuables, including her passport, stolen, said that residents are getting increasingly concerned, especially as some of the properties have apparently been robbed while the inhabitants have been home.
The properties all appear to be either second homes or homes of foreign residents and the Guardia Civil are investigating the possibility that a gang is operating in the area.
