Palma.—The musicians of the Balearic Symphony Orchestra (BSO) would like to invite you to their protest concert in support of the BSO and culture in general on our island.

The concert will take place this coming Saturday ( 13 July) at midday in the Borne, near the Llonja in Palma, and will combine the great sound of the Balearic Symphony Orchestra with a multimedia presentation produced specially for this concert.

Among those taking part will be conductors Luis Cobos, Fransisco Valero-Terribas, Felipe Aguirre and Josep Vicent. Singers Jaume Anglada, Pilar Jurado, Miguel Sola and Maria del Mar Bonet will also be lending their voices to our cause.

As will hundreds of singers from the island's numerous choirs their voices joined in harmony in support of culture! The whole spectacle will be hosted by Agustin “El Casta”, who has also lent his support freely to the musicians campaign.
From 11am there will be a procession of cornets and drums, two “batukadas” and a large wind band, from the Misericordia, through the Ramblas and finishing at the Passeig de Born.

Please try and make this event and support culture and the BSO.
