A minute's silence was held outside the British Consulate in Palma yesterday in memory of those who died in last year's terrorist attack on London.
Led by the British Consul Paul Abery, the act was attended by all the consulate staff as well as the Mayor of Palma, Catalina Cirer, and Calvia Councillor for Foreign Relations, Kate Mentink. The commemoration coincided with similar events across Britain at the same time.
In Madrid, a wreath was laid in memory of the dead.
