The late Kerry Packer's yacht sails in to Majorca

Palma.—At the time of his death, Packer was reported to be the richest and one of the most influential men in Australia and an arch-rival of Rupert Murdoch. However, the converted private yacht Arctic P, which is a particularly high quality German built super yacht which was launched to accolade in 1969, has remained in the family and the heir to the Packer empire, son Jamie, is understood to be on board with a group of friends. Accommodating 12 guests and 25 qualified crew, motor yacht Arctic P used to be called Arctic Research; Arctic as her shipyard project name and/or actual name. She could be considered a classic converted private yacht and is no stranger to the Balearics.
