Palma.—The National Police have arrested three Bulgarians for allegedly running a prostitution ring along the Playa de Palma.
The National Police began investigating the three suspects back in April after it was brought to their attention that a Bulgarian woman was being forced to prostitute herself in the infamous Calle Jamon.

The woman explained to the police that every day she had to deposit her taking into a bank account which belonged to a Bulgarian living in Bulgaria to clear the 30'000 euros the gang demanded for her freedom.

She had apparently been snared in Bulgaria by her boyfriend who was apparently working for a people smuggling gang and ended up working first in Toledo and now here in Majorca. Police said more arrests could be made.
