Palma.—Earlier this month, Palma City Council sources revealed that there is talk about banning people from wearing bikinis, swimming trunks of going bear-chested away from the beach front in the city.
Such a law is already in place in Barcelona and people caught face being fined.
But, that is not the only thing British holiday makers get caught for.
Yesterday, the Foreign Offiice issued a warning to people booking foreign holidays that they risk being caught out by unfamiliar laws by failing to research their destination, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office has warned.
More than a quarter of consular assistance cases were for arrests or detentions last year, it found.
Could Palma follow Barcelona’s lead?
