The Balearics and the Chinese island of Hainan, one of the country’s most popular domestic tourist destinations which attracts some 32 million tourists per year, 90 percent of which are Chinese, are to cooperate in developing their tourist industries.

Yesterday, a delegation from Hainan, led by the island’s deputy governor, Li Guoliang, visited the Balearic Microsoft Centre for Tourism Technology Innovation of the ParcBit technology park for talks with the centre’s management and members of the local government.
