AFTER crisis talks, the Bay Entertainers have decided to carry on and announce that their annual Christmas panto will go ahead as planned.
Earlier this week, it had been feared the panto would have to be dropped, after two key members announced that they would be taking a well-deserved rest.
Now, president Valerie Hughes has been able to breath a sigh of relief and announce that after a meeting yesterday involving the entire company, the decision was taken to soldier on, in true show biz tradition. However, what Valerie did not announce was the name of the panto, that is being kept under wraps for the time being.
The company, whose shows are in English, has been operating in Majorca for the past 14 years. Previous hit shows include Cinderella, Dick Whittington and The Wizard of Oz.
