PALMA
ONE of the two famous Portixol windmills is now the location for a restaurant serving traditional Italian food and pizzas.
Don Cortes, which is owned by Koldo Alonso and Javier Torrens and managed by Anne Brennan, boasts an extensive menu of Italian dishes, including fresh pasta and pizzas as well as delicious salads and fresh fish which is all prepared by the prestigious Italian chef Lui.

One of Lui's specialties is the “Batuta” pizza which is served on a giant wooden platter. The restaurant, with its comfortable and welcoming terrace just metres from the beach, and only five minutes from the centre of Palma, is open every day of the year and also serves breakfasts and special menus of the day.
