AFTER a tense month on Palma's shanty town of Son Banya, where one person was shot dead and millions of drug money found hidden, the City Council yesterday gave the green light to phase one of a demolition order to eventually flatten the whole site. Under heavy police protection, municipal bull dozers moved into the area and knocked down the first of five shacks.
