AN international conference entitled E-Tourism-Europe will take place next month in Palma. It is a front-running forum that is held each year at a European location to discuss the progress, strategies and latest technology related to tourism on the Internet. Exceltur, an Alliance for Excellence in Tourism, reported yesterday that the conference is scheduled for 16 and 17 October and it will be the first time the event has been held in Spain. A key theme of debate will be the development of a strategy for future alliances to improve the promotion and distribution of tourist services and products.
