PASSENGER movement through Palma's Son Sant Joan airport has shown growth of 3.23 percent this week in respect of the same period in 2004. From last Friday through to this coming Thursday, 562'200 people will use its facilities as opposed to 544'596 last year. The Spanish Airports Authority reported yesterday that 4'396 aircraft will be operating at Son Sant Joan during this period, 3.73 percent more than in 2004 when 4'238 were taking off and landing. Yesterday was the busiest day of the weekend with 122'900 passengers booked on 853 flights.
