A MADRID Court has ruled that airline companies Iberia, Air Europa and Spanair should reimburse customers for cancellations and delays.
The consumer association, OCU explained yesterday that the ruling will mean that four clauses will eventually disappear from the contract smallprint on airline tickets sold in Spain, and will have repercussions as much in international as in national flights. The move comes as a victory for the consumer group four years after it first put forward a legal petition to make airlines responsible for prejudicial circumstances caused by flight cancellations and delays.
