REGIONAL Transport minister Mabel Cabrer said yesterday that it was very good news indeed that as of 1 January, Balearic residents would be entitled to a 45 percent discount on the price of inter-island air fares which might extend to some flights between Majorca and the mainland. She added that this achievement had largely been due to the regional government pressurising its central counterpart to apply the increase in discount.
