THE Calvia home of a close political ally of the Russian President Vladimir Putin was raided by the Guardia Civil yesterday as part of on ongoing nationwide investigation into the Russian mafia in Spain.
Vladislav Reznik is the head of the Russian parliament's Finance Committee and also leading fugue in the United Russia Party of which Putin is Chairman and his El Toro property was stormed by the Guardia Civil acting on the orders of the Spanish super judge Baltasar Garzon who has been investigating money laundering and arms trafficking by Russian mafias in Spain since 2006.
