London.—A Majorcan Royal Engineer was chosen for the national Parliamentary launch of the new Army Reserve which took place on 16 October in the House of Commons Dining Room.
Lance Corporal Daniel Gelabert-Smart, who grew up in Majorca and whose parents still live on the island, has just graduated in languages from Swansea University, and serves in The Royal Monmouthshire Royal Engineers (Militia), based at John Chard VC House in Glamorgan Street.
