THE public prosecutor has called for a nine-year prison sentence for a 42-year-old man who raped a girl in Santa Ponsa whilst she was under the effects of alcohol.
According to the Prosecution Counsell, Estefan B. raped the girl in the interior of the pub where he worked as a waiter during a time it was empty.
Estefan B. had reportedly met his victim in a pub in Santa Ponsa and seeing that she had been drinking, persuaded her to join him for a drink in another pub where he said a friend of hers would be waiting for them.
Knowing that the pub where he worked was closed at that time, Estefan B. opened the premises with keys of his own and invited his victim inside. Once within the building, the alleged rapist tried to kiss his victim but she rejected him and went to sleep on a sofa.
She then awoke when Estefan B. tried to rape her. The victim screamed but her attacker hit her and succeeded in raping her after pinning both arms down by her sides.
