Palma.—The 65-year-old tourist was reported missing in the area of Son Servera on Friday.
The body was found naked and seriously damaged lodged between some rocks off the Cala Bona coast.
The victim was on holiday with her husband and staying at a hotel in Cala Millor.
It was he who reported his wife missing on October 14 and the Son Servera Local Police, the Guardia Civil, Civil Protection and the air sea rescue service mounted a search for the missing woman.

For the past three days, the search combed the area on land and at sea, eyewitnesses told police that she had last been seen near the coast.
Yesterday afternoon, with the chances of the woman being found alive beginning to rapidly diminish, the body was spotted by one of the search teams on board a zodiac in the rocks off Cala Bona.

The Guardia Civil's special GEAS divers were called in because the body was jammed between the rocks and was proving very difficult to release.

A forensic doctor has examined the body to clear up the circumstances surrounding the incident and the complete report will be handed over to the courts in Manacor in the next couple of days.

Elsewhere, the National Police homicide squad is continuing its investigation into the disappearance of an Algaida resident who has not been seen since the end of July.

65 -year-old Miguel Pellicer, left his identification papers, mobile phone, bank cards and clothes behind in his rented property which is why the police suspect foul play.
