SIX people, mainly Colombians, have been arrested by police in Palma after a three-month investigation into drug trafficking.
National police swooped on the home of JMH, the 51-year-old ringleader of the group, and his wife, on suspicion of supplying cocaine.
Four others, including the couple's nephew, an illegal immigrant and a Spaniard, were also detained at another address in the city. They were all charged with selling drugs in the capital.

Police officers raided the suspects' homes and seized a total of 44 grammes of cocaine, 28 grammes of marijuana, worth around 3'000 euros, electric scales and various plastic bags containing specially-adapted papers to contain drugs.

A judge has remanded four of the gang to prison while the last two arrested have remained on bail awaiting a further hearing.
