85% of over 45s have lost their jobs since the recession hit in the Balearics

Three in ten people currently out of work in the Balearics are aged over 45 and 85% of those have lost their joss since the recession began in 2007.

Palma.—Of the total 105,600 people out of work in the Balearics, 28.3 percent are aged over 45 and 70 percent of them have been unemployed for more than two years.
According to the association of employment agencies, Asempleo, there are 29,900 people out of work aged over 45 in the Balearics and 45.5 percent of them are female.
