The forthcoming European elections could be your opportunity as an expatriate to show the British government that you care and want to be able to exercise your right to vote for life.

Palma.—Recently, Sir Roget Gale, the Conservative MP for Thanet North and a campaigner for the rights of expatriates,  raised the issue in the House of Commons asking: “In addition to the hundreds of thousands of expatriate United Kingdom citizens who are disfranchised because of the 15-year rule, there are also tens of thousands of expat citizens who could vote but who are not registered. What is the commission doing to ensure that they can be registered to vote?”
