Santa Ponsa’s new weekly local food and handcrafts market will start next month on 29 March, Calvia Town Council confirmed yesterday.
Calvia.—Council sources announced yesterday that 200 businesses will have the opportunity to set up stalls in Rio Sil street, where the market will take place, but given the amount of interest shown by Majorcan businesses, that number can be extended to 230. Around 500 businesses have already asked for permission to take part, making the second figure the most likely final amount.
