Cala d’Or will have a new gastronomic market every Friday from now on in Plaza Eivissa.
The first market was last Friday. Fruit, vegetable and local Majorcan produce will be the main products on offer. The idea is to offer something extra to the many tourists who visit the area every year as well as create some activity for the region during low season .
As such, the market is expected to run not only during high season but throughout the whole year. Those who presented their products for the first time last Friday said they were “happy with the public’s reaction”. The usual Sunday market will also still run as usual, where visitors will have the opportunity to see and buy art and craft products from 23 different stalls.
