Palma.—The summer season has only just begun but already companies have collapsed throwing the plans of thousands of British holiday makers into doubt.
On Wednesday evening, ABTA members Villa Parade and sister company Luxury Villa Escapes ceased trading leaving scores of owners of villas used by the two companies here in Majorca, its most popular destination,  now wondering if contracts and bookings agreed for this summer will be honoured.

Family-run
The family-run luxury villa specialists, set up by a husband and wife team, sold packages mainly to Spain and Portugal.
All 10 staff have lost their jobs but have reportedly agreed to stay on to help the owners deal with the paperwork.
