Greenpeace brings oil prospecting campaign to Palma today

Palma.—The Rainbow Warrior, which began her campaign in Valencia, then sailed to Ibiza, is expected to dock in Palma at around 7.30am and she is going to be open to the public (see What’s On) during her stay in the capital.
Yesterday morning, a team of activists launched the Majorcan leg of the drive to stop oil and gas prospecting from going ahead in local waters by staging an under water protest off Ses Salines.
On Thursday, activists targeted the Scottish energy company  which has been granted the permits to prospect in Edinburgh as the environmental organisation steps up its efforts to block the project from going ahead.
